Why does athens need to fully check out from her room?
Another year coming to an end.
Actually athens like the board to be like this too.
It is same like putting a painting on the wall.

Athens is currently at home, here blogging and thinking of what to cook later for dinner.
Dish in mind:
1. Fried ikan (tak tau apa nama)
2. Soup herbal (tak tau apa nama)
3. Sayur (pun tak tau apa nama)

Athens: Aiyo athens, this is very bad! How can you not know all their names?
Eden: Aiya, at least I know how to cook them and how they will taste when I cook them. HAAHHAHAAHAH

R.I.P
One of my batch jpa who was in the states has just passed away.
Must we wait til we lose somebody only we start to think about life?
A lot of times we are just enjoying our life, thinking that death is not near.
We leave no room for serious stuff, maybe we think that it is 'uncool' to talk about them.

I have this on my board.
He was the Head of Missons Committee in my church.
When he passed away early this year, many turned out at his memorial service and talked about the love of God he had shown to many of us.
I was inspired by his work.
He worked very hard for the kingdom of God, doing ministry to serve orang asli and people in northern thailand.
His passion for Christ and love for all brothers and sisters was evident.
Many of us just cried while we listen from what he had personally done to serve the others.
May my life be like his.
Lord, empower me to serve You.


For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. Philippians 1:21

It is hard to live a life for Jesus.
I am not afraid of death, even though I wish I still have time on earth.
I know that my God has prepared a place for me to go.
I hope when my time's up, I will be able to say like Paul:

6For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time has come for my departure. 7I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

Athens has always wanted to attend a concert ever since she started learning flute.
Maybe it was because she saw the NTV 7 showing choir singing the national anthem accompanied by orchestra at Malaysian Philharmonic Hall of Petronas.
There was no one around her that wanted to go and watch a concert that might make them fall asleep.
Athens didn't really take action as in go find out where to buy ticket and all.
It was just at the back of her mind all the time and wrote on her friendster shout out: "My birthday wish : Watch Philharmonic Orchestra." for three years.

Athens almost totally forgot about it after so long, until the day she took Music appreciation course in inti.
She was so excited to hear that everyone in the class HAS to attend the concert.
She was overjoyed.
Oh God, it was just athens' silent prayer. Who is athens that God care to grant it?

Athens doesn't know how others felt about the concert.
Athens only knew that her heart was full of gratitude.
Thank You LORD.

The man was standing and extending his vision far away. He seemed deserted. He knew that the situation seemed hopeless, but he knew that the omnipotent God is still in control.
Athens was walking through one of her darkest moment in her life when she was in form 4. All she felt was sadness. Athens cried a lot even when she was in school or in church. She couldn't hide her sadness. It was indeed God's grace that brought her through. Her church friend XH bought her this card. XH said that she thought of athens once she saw the card. Thank you XH. Thank you for loving athens.

K: Eiiiiiiiii???!! Did you change the things on your board?
Athens: Yes.
K: When? This is so beautiful.
Athens: Erm, first day starting of this semester. You came into my room so many times already, is this the first time you notice i have changed the content of my board?
K: (ignored athens' statement,atill staring at the board) This is so beautiful.
Athens(feeling happy silently): It is not. You would have notice it earlier if it is nice.

Well,this is not athens' point.
It is about athens' board that truly tells a lot about athens.
It's so athens.
